Never Fail Meringue Pie Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 egg whites
    dash of salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, blend cornstarch with cold water.
    Add to boiling water.
    Cook until clear, stirring constantly.
    Cool completely.
