Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. butter
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
4 tsp. soda
2 c. applesauce
4 c. raisins
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 c. black walnuts
1 lb. dates
1 1/2 c. sugar

Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar and butter.
Dissolve soda in applesauce.
Mix spices with flavoring.
Add raisins, dates and nuts.
Add sugar mixture to applesauce, mixing well, and add flavoring to which nuts and fruits have been added.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours in well-greased and floured tube pan.
