Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt; cut in shortening.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir into buttermilk. Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
    Cover and chill.
    When ready to use, roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness.
    Cut out biscuits with 2-inch cutter and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Dough will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
    Yield:
    4 to 5 dozen (2-inch) biscuits.
