Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sour cream
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. fresh blackberries
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients except blackberries in bowl.
    Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Fold in blackberries carefully.
    Pour into well-greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Serve warm. Top with ice cream or milk.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
