Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    about 2 Tbsp. shaved paraffin wax
Preparation
    Put peanuts, syrup and water in a thick saucepan.
    Cook until it turns a light caramel, stirring all the time.
    Remove from heat.
    Add wax; stir until all wax has been melted.
    Spread on foil paper; smooth out.
    When cold, break in pieces.
