Beef Curry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak (3 1/2-inch strips)
1 large clove garlic
1 large onion, sliced
2 large carrots
1/2 large green pepper, cubed
3/4 c. sliced celery
2 medium apples, thin sliced
2 tsp. curry powder
1 cinnamon stick
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 c. beef broth
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook beef strips in nonstick skillet 5 minutes until there is no pink.
Remove and keep warm.
Cook onion and garlic on low until transparent.
Add carrots, green pepper and celery stirring until tender-crisp.
Add apples cooking until tender.
Melt butter in saucepan and stir in cornstarch and all spices as well as broth. Stir and heat until thick.
Return beef and vegetables to skillet; add sauce and cook 5 minutes. Remove stick and serve with favorite starch dish.
Serves 4.
