Food Processor Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
    Grease a 7 inch skillet or you can use a 9-inch cake pan. Combine all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor, fitted with the steel blade.
    Process for 15 to 20 seconds.
    The dough will be sticky but do not add more flour.
    Spoon the dough onto a floured surface.
    Lightly dust the top of the dough with flour.
    Gently knead about 10 times.
    Pat or roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch.
    Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter.
    Place in the skillet or cake pan.
    Bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yield: 8 biscuits.
