Anise Toast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. flour
melted butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. anise seed
Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar, flour and anise seed.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0 in a greased and floured bread pan.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from pan and slice into 16 slices (1/2-inch).
Place on buttered cookie sheet and return to oven for 5 minutes or until bottoms are light brown.
Turn over and bake 5 minutes more.
(It may take 10 minutes on each side.)
Brush with butter.
