Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 slices bread, buttered and cut into cubes
    2 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    4 eggs
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs or grated Parmesan cheese
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Place 1/2 the bread cubes in bottom. Place 1/2 mushrooms on bread. Combine chopped veggies with mayonnaise. Spread 1/2 of this mixture over mushrooms. Repeat layers: bread, mushrooms and veggie mixture. Mix milk, eggs and seasonings and pour over layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking, pour soup on top. Sprinkle with crumbs or cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, until brown.
