Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, stir together sugar and corn syrup.
    Microwave 4 minutes on High.
    Stir into sugar mixture the peanuts.
    Microwave 3 to 5 minutes on High until light.
    Add margarine and vanilla to mixture, blending well.
    Microwave 1 to 2 minutes on High.
    Peanuts will be lightly brown and syrup hot. Add to mixture the soda.
    Stir until light and foamy.
    Pour onto lightly buttered cookie pan.
    Let cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
