White Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 qt. or 5 cans chicken broth plus 1/2 c. water
1 lb. dried white beans
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. herbs
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
5 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (approximately 1 lb.), cooked and cut into pieces
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies (optional)
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. chopped cilantro
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 chopped green onion
small tub sour cream
Preparation

Set aside last 3 ingredients.
Bring first 7 ingredients to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer until tender (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
If it becomes too thick, add more broth.
When beans are tender, add the remaining 5 ingredients.
Simmer for 20 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
