Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 lemons
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 eggs
    3 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Combine sugar, lemon rind and juice, cornstarch, egg yolks and water and cook until thick. Pour into baked pie crusts.
    Beat egg whites and sugar to taste and vanilla.
    Cover pie and brown in oven.
    Makes 2 pies.
