Mandarin And Marmalade Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. salted butter, softened
    1 c. white sugar
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. orange marmalade
    1 (10 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained and chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In a medium bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
    Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
    In a large bowl, blend butter and sugar with an electric mixer to form a grainy paste.
    Add egg and orange marmalade and beat at medium speed until smooth.
    Add the flour mixture and the oranges and blend at low speed just until combined.
    Do not overmix.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets 1 1/2 inches apart.
    Bake for 24 to 25 minutes or until the bottoms of cookies begin to brown.
    Transfer with a spatula to a cool, flat surface.
