Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (27 oz.) can kraut, drained
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    3/4 c. sweet onion, finely chopped
    1 carrot, grated
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 red pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cut up kraut.
    Combine with celery, onion, carrot and peppers. Dissolve sugar in oil and vinegar.
    Add celery seed.
    Pour over vegetables and toss.
    Cover; chill for several hours.
    Drain before serving (optional).
    Makes 8 servings.
    Good with seafood and vegetables.
