Chicken Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/3 c. oil
    2 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    8-oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced and cut into triangles
Preparation
    Pound chicken breasts on cutting board until 1/4 inch thick. Combine eggs and salt and pepper.
    Dip breasts into egg mixture, then into bread crumbs to coat.
    Brown both sides of chicken in the oil.
    In a saucepan, stir together tomato sauce, basil and garlic powder, and heat to boiling; simmer 10 minutes, or until thickened.
    Stir in butter.
    Put chicken in a 9 x 13 inch pan and cover with the sauce.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and cover. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes; uncover.
    Place mozzarella triangles over chicken and bake 10 minutes longer, or until cheese melts. Serve.
