Grandmother'S 12-Hour Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
salt
pepper
3 Tbsp. uncooked tapioca
1 medium onion, chopped
3 medium potatoes, cut thick lengthwise
6 carrots, sliced
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

Season meat.
Place in bottom of slow cooker.
Sprinkle with tapioca.
Arrange layer of onion, potato, carrots and celery. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Pour tomato sauce over top.
Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
