Bread Stuffing(Makes 4 To 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine water, onion and celery in a saucepan.
    Mix well. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Toss with a fork until well mixed.
    Do not stuff turkey until you are ready to roast it, then spoon stuffing lightly into turkey.
    Do not pack tightly.
