Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 Tbsp. ginger
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 green pepper
    raw tomatoes (if wanted)
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 clove garlic
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Brown cut-up steak in oil; add cornstarch, then add the rest of ingredients and simmer.
    Put peppers and tomatoes in last for a few minutes. Serve over white rice.
