Shamrock Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. lime juice
several drops green food coloring
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
4 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
2 Tbsp. green decorating sugar
Preparation

Combine water, gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar, egg yolks, lime juice and food coloring in saucepan; bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; place saucepan in pan of ice water. Cool until thickened.
