Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cucumbers, sliced thin
    2 c. onion, sliced thin
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar (cold)
    4 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onion, salt and 2 cups water.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Drain; do not rinse.
    Pack into containers.
    Mix sugar and vinegar and pour over cucumbers.
    Freeze.
    Do not heat vinegar.
