Dimitri'S Bitkis(Russian Meat Balls) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

20 saltine crackers
1 1/2 c. milk
1 large onion, chopped
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground round
1/2 lb. ground veal
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. beef stock
3 Tbsp. white horseradish
Preparation

Crumble crackers into milk; let stand until soft.
Saute onion until golden brown.
Beat eggs lightly with a fork and add to crackers; add salt and pepper.
Combine onion and cracker mixture with ground meat and mix well.
Shape into small balls; roll in flour and brown in hot butter.
Drain pan drippings; add 1 cup of beef stock and remaining flour and bring slowly to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add horseradish before removing from heat. Place meat balls in casserole, pour sauce over and cover with lid or foil.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
Makes about 6 servings.
