Quick Lunchbox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. soft butter
    1 lb. canned fruit cocktail with juice (undrained)
    12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease and flour bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts in large bowl.
    Blend at lowest speed of electric mixer.
    Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    After final beating, stir in 1/2 bag of chocolate chips. Pour batter into pan.
    Sprinkle remainder of chips and nuts on top.
    Bake at 305\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
