Mamaw Blanton'S Minute Steaks And Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 Minute steaks
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown minute steaks in oil.
    Do not flour steaks.
    When steaks are almost done, remove and set aside.
    Add onion and bell pepper to oil, cooking until tender.
    Remove and set aside.
    Brown 1 to 2 tablespoons of flour.
    Add can of tomatoes with juice.
    Stir well.
    Add water and cook until mixture starts to thicken.
    (May need to add more water to desired consistency.)
    Return steaks, onion and bell pepper back to skillet.
    Stir well and simmer until steaks are thoroughly done.
