Jenny'S Butter Almond Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. real butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. slivered or sliced almonds
1 Tbsp. sugar for garnish
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
Blend sugar and melted butter.
Beat in eggs.
Stir in almond and vanilla extracts.
Add salt, flour, and mix well.
Spread evenly in pan.
Top with almonds and sprinkle on a Tbsp. of sugar.
