Frosty Mandarin Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can orange sections
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    1 pt. orange sherbet
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Drain oranges, reserving juice.
    Add water to juice to make 1 cup syrup.
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add syrup and orange sherbet.
    Mix until melted; chill until thick.
    Add orange slices.
    Pour into large mold; refrigerate until solid.
    Remove mold onto bed of lettuce and serve.
    Wonderfully fruity and light!
