Meaty Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 onion, minced
    1 can chicken with rice soup
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. water
    1 egg
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 slices soft bread, pieces
    1/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add pepper and onion.
    Cook until tender.
    Stir in soups and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Turn down heat and simmer, stirring occasionally.
    While sauce cooks, make the meatballs.
    Beat egg in bowl.
    Add ground beef, bread pieces, milk and salt.
    Shape meatballs about ping-pong ball size.
    Drop into simmering sauce for 1 hour or until thick.
    Makes 6 servings.
