Mandarin Orange Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Drain oranges; reserve syrup.
    Take 1/4 cup of syrup, add water to make 1 cup.
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water, then add the cup of water and juice.
    Add sherbet by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
    Chill until thick.
    Fold in oranges.
    Save some to garnish.
    Return to refrigerator until ready to serve.
