Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast or 1 cake
    1/2 c. warm water
    5 c. sifted flour (plain)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift all dry ingredients together a couple of times in large bowl.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and yeast mixture; work dough only until well moistened.
    Cover and refrigerate to use as needed.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until nicely browned, about 12 minutes.
    Keeps for a full week in refrigerator.
