Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. cream
    1/2 c. water
    dash of salt
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cocoa (optional for chocolate candy)
    nuts (optional)
    1 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Boil over medium heat until soft ball stage the sugar, cream, water and salt.
    Take off heat and stir in the margarine, vanilla, cocoa (if using), nuts (if using) and peanut butter.
    Mix well. Pour in a buttered pan and cool.
