Ham-Spaghetti Skillet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked ham, slivered
4 slices bacon
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic (optional)
1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes
1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
1/2 c. cheese, shredded
Preparation

Dice bacon and fry until crisp.
Remove from skillet.
Use 2 tablespoons bacon drippings and fry onion and bell pepper until tender.
Add ham and brown lightly.
Add garlic, tomatoes and bacon. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove garlic.
Cook spaghetti in usual manner and drain.
Add spaghetti and cheese to skillet. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes.
Season, if desired.
Serves 4 to 6.
Great dish for leftover ham.
I add a pinch of mixed herbs.
