Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sweet Italian sausages, chopped, or pork sausage
    1 onion, chopped fine
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can Italian tomatoes
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/4 tsp. basil
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry or brown sausages.
    Drain off fat.
    Add onion and garlic and saute 10 minutes, until onion is brown.
    Add tomatoes, water and basil and stir.
    Cover and cook over low heat for three hours, stirring occasionally.
    Correct seasoning; add parsley.
    Place layer of noodles on bottom of buttered baking dish.
    Add some sauce.
    Mix water and cottage cheese together and spread some of it over sauce.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan.
    Repeat layers, ending with cottage cheese and
    Parmesan on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
    Serves 6.
