Pavlova - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar (fine grain)
    1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. white vinegar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    fruit (e.g., kiwi, bananas, strawberries)
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar, a spoon at a time, making sure it dissolves. Add the cornstarch with the last spoon of sugar. Add vanilla and vinegar; beat in well.
    Pile mixture into a flat baking pan, forming a circle approximately 7-inches in diameter and making the sides higher. Bake in a 200\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until outside is light brown and crisp. Leave in oven, turned off, to cool down for at least 1 hour. Fill with whipped cream and top with fruit.
