Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
Preparation

Cut up butter and add rest of ingredients; stir.
Bake until test done, about 30 or 35 minutes.
Frost with chocolate frosting.
