Venison Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 strips bacon
1 medium onion, sliced
1 (4 lb.) venison roast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Place 4 strips of bacon and half of the onion in roasting pan. Rub roast with salt, pepper and celery salt.
Place roast over onion and bacon.
Arrange remaining bacon and onion on top of roast.
Sprinkle vinegar over all.
Bake, uncovered, at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours.
Turn often.
Cover, if roast becomes too dry.
