Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Melt margarine; remove from heat.
    Stir in sugar until well mixed.
    Beat in egg and vanilla until well blended.
    Stir in flour and then nuts.
    Spread in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool and cut.
