Old-Fashioned Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt
    bacon
    1 qt. half and half
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Fry bacon and retain fat.
    In hot fat, add flour and stir to thicken.
    Pour half and half, cream in and add Cheddar cheese, stirring to mix well.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick.
    Salt to taste.
    Serve over biscuits.
    Serves 6 to 8.
