Cherry-Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

1 large pkg. cherry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
nuts
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar

After mixing and spreading on top of congealed salad, sprinkle nuts on top.
