Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes, cooked and sieved
    3 lb. onions, chopped
    1 tsp. bay leaves, crumble whole leaves for this amount
    2 tsp. sweet basil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    8 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste (48 oz.)
    6 green peppers, chopped
    2 tsp. oregano
    1/3 c. salt
Preparation
    Cool tomatoes and pour off water.
    Put all ingredients together.
    Cook 1 1/2 hours or until as thick as you desire.
    Stir occasionally.
    (Cook uncovered.)
