Bishop Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix into crumbs.
Save 3/4 cup crumbs for topping.
Add to crumb mixture 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon soda, milk and baking powder. Beat well and pour into 2 cake pans.
Cover with crumb mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
