1 recipe pastry for a 9-inch single pie crust
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. buttermilk
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour; add buttermilk, beaten eggs and vanilla. Melt the butter over low heat. Add to buttermilk mixture and mix well. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
