Shipwreck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium raw potatoes, sliced
    2 small onions, sliced
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 lb. raw hamburger
    1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans (undrained)
    2 c. tomato juice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In greased casserole put ingredients in layers in the following order:
    potatoes, onions, celery, rice, hamburger, kidney beans and tomato juice.
    Salt and pepper may be added between layers.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0
    for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 4.
    Approximately 500 calories per serving.
