Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

cucumbers (whole)
4 Tbsp. salt (plain)
4 Tbsp. alum
4 Tbsp. pickling spice
vinegar
Preparation
-
Pack cucumbers tightly in a gallon glass jar with metal lid. Put salt, alum and pickling spice over cucumbers.
Fill jar with vinegar.
Seal.
Wait at least 3 months before using.
