German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 sweet onion
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. corn oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Chop cabbage and onion.
    Add 1 cup sugar and let sit while making dressing.
    Mix vinegar, oil, celery seed, salt, dried mustard and 1 tablespoon sugar.
    Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage while hot.
    It is better next day.
