Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. Confectioners Sugar
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine (melted)
    Maraschino cherries with stems
Preparation
    Drain cherries on paper towels for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Put cherries on a cookie sheet and freeze.
    (Make sure the cherries are not touching each other, or you won't be able to separate them while frozen.)
    While cherries are freezing, mix sugar, milk, and melted butter.
    Shape into 1 inch balls.
    Flatten one ball and wrap around a frozen cherry.
    As cherries are wrapped, put back on cookie sheet.
    Chill for several hours.
    If you run out of cherries and have mixture left, you can make chocolate covered cream drops with the rest.
    Yield:
    100 to 120 Cherries.
