Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. (2 medium) mashed bananas
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Beat margarine, sugar, egg and mashed bananas; beat well.
    Add dry ingredients alternately in 4 additions with buttermilk.
    Fold in walnuts.
    Bake in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan for 1 hour.
    Turn onto wire rack and turn right side up to cool.
