Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. flank steak
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 c. Worcestershire
Preparation

Trim all fat from meat.
Semi-freeze meat and slice with the grain making strips 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
Place meat in shallow baking dish.
Combine all other ingredients and pour over meat:
marinate overnight.
Preheat oven to 140\u00b0 to 150\u00b0. Lay strips of meat in single layer on oven rack with baking sheet or foil underneath to catch drippings.
Leave oven door open a crack and bake 8 to 10 hours, or until meat is chewy.
Test by tasting occasionally.
Serve as appetizers or snacks.
Store in plastic bag or airtight container on pantry shelf.
