Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. applesauce
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. raisins
    powdered sugar, optional
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Add applesauce and then all sifted dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add chopped nuts and raisins. Bake in a tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45-60 minutes. Sift powdered sugar on top if desired. Yield 12 to 14 servings.
