Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches broccoli
    10 slices bacon
    1 red onion
    1/3 c. raisins
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. sunflower seeds
Preparation
    Cut broccoli flowerets into smaller than bite-sized pieces. Cut off tough outer layer of stalks and chop tender part into small pieces (8 cups broccoli).
    In small skillet, saute bacon until crisp.
    Set aside.
    Slice onion lengthwise, then cut into julienne strips.
    In large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, raisins and crumbled bacon.
