Oriental Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked rice
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
    1/2 c. chopped carrot
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery, cut on diagonal
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 2/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chow mein noodles
    soy sauce
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place rice in 2-quart casserole and set aside.
    In medium skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter.
    Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until tender.
    Add to rice.
    In medium skillet, cook beef over medium heat until browned.
    Drain fat.
    Add beef and water chestnuts to rice mixture.
