Chicken Adobo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 whole chicken, cleaned and cut into desired sizes (about 3 lb.)
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1 head garlic, peeled and crushed
1/2 tsp. black ground pepper
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Clean chicken and cut into desired serving size.
Let it drain to remove excess water for about 15 minutes.
Saute garlic in fat trimmings from the chicken until golden brown.
Add black pepper and bay leaves.
Add vinegar, soy sauce and sugar.
Add chicken and let simmer for 20 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup water if chicken is not yet tender.
Boil for another 15 minutes.
Serve with steamed rice with fried bananas on the side.
